Google can't see your vibe-coded site.

What Google gets from a typical AI-built site
Your browser runs the JavaScript and shows the page. Google's first pass, and every link preview, reads only this:
Ship your SaaS in a weekend Seamless. Powerful. Effortless. [Start free trial] Trusted by 10,000+ teams
<title>Vite + React + TS</title> <meta name="description" content="Lovable Generated Project"> <body> <div id="root"></div> </body>
The scan checks four things
Can Google see it?
Words in the raw HTML, title, description, canonical, noindex, robots.txt, sitemap, share image, and whether every page has the same title.
Does it look AI-made?
Inter or Geist, purple-to-blue gradients, the stock shadcn theme, emoji icons, three-card grids, blurred blobs, a "Trusted by" strip.
Does the copy read AI-made?
Em dashes per 1,000 words, "seamless" and "elevate", "not just X, it's Y", and headlines a competitor could paste unchanged.
Did it leak a key?
Stripe, OpenAI, AWS and Supabase service keys in your public JavaScript, Supabase anon keys that need Row Level Security, public source maps and missing security headers.
Questions
- Why isn't my website showing up on Google?
- The most common reason for sites built with Lovable, Bolt or v0 is that the server sends an empty page and the text only appears after JavaScript runs. Google may render it days later or not at all, and link previews never do. Other causes: a noindex tag, a robots.txt that blocks crawlers, no sitemap, or the same title on every page. The scan checks all of these.
- Does Google run JavaScript?
- Sometimes, later, and with a budget. Google first reads the raw HTML, then queues the page for rendering. Bing, X, LinkedIn, Slack, iMessage and most AI crawlers read only the raw HTML. If your copy isn't in it, those services see nothing.
- Is a Lovable site bad for SEO?
- Not always. Newer templates render HTML on the server. Older ones, and most Vite + React apps, ship an empty div. Scan your URL to see which one you have.
- What is the slop score?
- A number from 0 to 100. Higher is worse. Google visibility counts for 40%, design tells 20%, copy tells 20% and leaked keys 20%. A leaked secret key puts any site at 75 or more.
- Do you store my site or keys?
- We store the scan result for 90 days so the share link works. If we find a key, we store only the first and last few characters. We never log in to your site or query your database.
